Sweet and Sour Purple Cabbage

Ingredients:


1 teaspoon margarine

1/2 cup chopped onion

3 cups chopped purple cabbage

2 cups apples -- sliced and halved

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons vinegar

1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper
 

Preparation / Directions:


Saute onion in cooking spray and margarine for 1 minute. Add cabbage and apples and saute for 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover. Cook over low heat 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with carraway seed if desired.
