Honey Brownies

Ingredients:


1/3 cup butter or margarine -- softened

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup honey

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup hersheys cocoa

1/2 teaspoon salt

2/3 cup chopped nuts
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease square pan, 9 x 9 x 2 inches. In small mixer bowl cream butter and sugar; blend in honey and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan; frost with creamy brownie frosting, if desired. Cut into squares. About 16 brownies.
