Louise's Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients:


2 Packages frozen broccoli spears -- (10 ounces) thawed and cut up

1 Can condensed cream of celery soup -- (10 3/4 ounces)

2 3/4 Cups grated sharp cheddar cheese -- divided

1/4 Cup minced green onions

1 cup crushed saltine crackers or potato chips
 

Preparation / Directions:


Grease crock-pot / slow-cooker. In large bowl, combine broccoli, celery soup, 1 cup cheese and onions. Pour into crock-pot/slow-cooker. Sprinkle top with crushed crackers, then with remaining cheese. Cover and cook on LOW 5-6 hours or on HIGH 2-1/2- to 3 hours. Makes 4-6 servings. NOTE: If desired, casserole may be spooned into a baking dish and garnished with additional grated cheese and broken potatoe chips; bake 5-10 minutes in 400 degree oven.
