Broccoli Cheddar Cheese Soup

Ingredients:


10 3/4 ounces canned beef broth -- (1 can)

10 3/4 ounces cream of celery soup -- (1 can)

1 cup milk

1/4 cup white wine

1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder -- to taste

1 teaspoon salt -- to taste

1 teaspoon black pepper -- to taste

1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped broccoli florets

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon minced parsley or dill -- as garnish
 

Preparation / Directions:


Add first 8 ingredients to pan. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until broccoli is beginning to become tender. (Make sure that broccoli is cut into bite size pieces). When broccoli is done to proper tenderness, slowly add cheddar cheese, stiring constantly until each bit is completely blended into soup. Before serving, garnish with a sprinkle of parsley or dried or fresh dill, alongside some crusty French bread.
