Sour Cream Soda Bread

Ingredients:


2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

3/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 teaspoon Salt

3 Tablespoons Sugar

1/2 Cup Butter Or Margarine -- Softened

1/2 Cup Raisins

1 Tablespoon Caraway Seed

1 cup Sour Cream

1 Tablespoon Milk
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place flour, soda, salt, sugar, and butter in bowl. Attach bowl and flat beater. Turnt o speed 4 and mix 2 minutes or until mixture is crumbley. Stop and scrape bowl. Add raisins, caraway seeds, and sour cream. Turn to speed 2 and beat 1 minute or until well blended. Form dough into a mound-shaped circle on a greased baking sheet. Brush dough with milk. Bake at 375 F for 45 to 55 minutes. Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire rack.
