German Rye Bread

Ingredients:


1 tablespoon active dry yeast

1 tablespoon caraway seed

2 1/4 cups bread flour

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

2 1/2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa

1 1/2 cups rye flour

1 1/4 cups warm water

1 1/2 tablespoons butter

2 1/2 tablespoons molasses
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place ingredients in bread machine in order recommended by the manufacturer of your machine. Use regular bread cycle. (I grind the caraway seeds before usingbecause I like the flavor but not the nasty little seeds. ) (For Panasonic/National machines use 3 1/2 teaspoons of yeast).
