Russian Black Bread

1 package yeast
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 cups medium rye flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup unprocessed bran flakes
1 tablespoon caraway seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 cup water -- plus 2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 ounce unsweetened chocolate

Preparation / Directions:

Heat the syrup ingredients over low heat till chocolate and butter melt, stirring frequently. Or heat in microwave on half power till chocolate and butter melt. Cool to between 105 and 115 degrees. Add all ingredients into the pan in the order listed, syrup last. Select white bread and push start.
