Basic White Bread Very Good

1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons powdered milk
2 tablespoons shortening -- (i use liquid margarine)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 1/4 cups bread flour
1 1/4 teaspoons yeast

Preparation / Directions:

1. Measure all ingredients into bread machine in order listed. 2. Select regular or dark crust. 3. Push Start. 4. Cool on rack inside a plastic bag before slicing. Placing inside a plastic bag to cool makes it very soft and moist. If you want a crunchier crust, let cool on rack with putting inside plastic bag. The plastic bag trick is my own idea, and was not part of the instructions from Black and Decker.
