Creamy Cubed Steak

1 pound cubed steak -- (1 to 1 1/2)
1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/2 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup sour cream (or lite sour cream)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation / Directions:

Cut steak into 4 serving pieces if necessary. Combine cracked pepper and flour. Dredge meat in mixture. Discard any excess flour. Brown steaks in 1 tablespoon butter over medium high heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Turn steaks oce. Keep warm on serving platter. Sprinkle wih salt, if used. Add remaining butter to skillet. Add sliced mushrooms. Cook over medium high heat, stirring until golden. Stir in sour cream, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and paprika. Heat but do not boil. Spoon sauce over steaks and serve.
