Ingredients:

  1 1/2         pounds  ground turkey
     1/4           cup  grated onion
  1           teaspoon  salt
     1/2      teaspoon  ground black pepper
  1                cup  hickory smoked barbacue sauce
  6                     hamburger buns -- toasted
                        sliced tomatoes
                        lettuce leaves
 
Preparation:

Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Mix turkey, onion, salt and pepper in large bowl. Form into six 1/2-inch-thick patties. Grill burgers until cooked through, brushing frequently with barbecue sauce, about 5 minutes per side. Serve burgers on buns with tomatoes and lettuce. Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Makes: 6 sandwiches These burgers combine two great American classics: burgers and barbecues
