Adobo Kang Kong

Ingredients:

   1      cup           vinegar -- cider
   4      cloves        garlic -- crushed
   1      tablespoon    black pepper
   1      teaspoon      rock salt
   1      kilogram      kang kong -- (approximately)
   1      medium        onion -- chopped
   3      tablespoons   soy sauce -- to taste
   1      cup           pork -- chopped
   1      cup           water
 

Preparation:

1. Wash and drain kang kong tops (use okra or string beans as substitutes). 2. Saute garlic, peper, onion and pork until brown. 3. Add water and simmer until meat is tender. 4. Add kang kong and soy. 5. Add vinegar when kang kong is cooked. Serving Ideas : Serve hot with steamed or boiled rice.
