Layered Seafood Spread

Ingredients:

  1            package  cream cheese -- softened
     1/2           cup  Mayonnaise
     2/3           cup  seafood sauce
  1                cup  chopped cooked salad shrimp
     3/4           cup  shredded Cheddar cheese
     3/4           cup  shredded Monterey Jack or mozzarella
                        cheese
     1/2           cup  seeded chopped tomato
     1/4           cup  chopped green onion
 

Preparation:

Preparation Instructions 1) In bowl beat cream cheese and mayonnaise together until smooth. 2) Spread evenly in a 12 x 8 inch rectangular or 12 inch round platter. 3) Spread seafood sauce on top, leaving a small border around edge. 4) Sprinkle shrimp, cheeses, tomato and green onion on top. 5) Cover and chill 30 minutes or until ready to serve. Tip: When ready to serve, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley around edge of layered dip. Serving Suggestion: Serve with crackers or Melba toast.
