Herbed Chevre Spread

Ingredients:

  6                 oz  goat cheese -- (170 g)
  8                 oz  non-fat cream cheese -- (225 g)
     1/4           cup  non-fat plain yogurt -- (60 ml)
  1                     garlic clove -- crushed
     1/2           tsp  dried thyme -- (2 ml)
  1                 Tb  chopped chives -- (15 ml)
  1               dash  cayenne pepper (optional)
                        Salt and freshly ground black pepper to
                        taste
 

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until thoroughly incorporated. Scoop the mixture into a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until chilled and slightly stiffened. Serve with toast, crackers, or fresh raw vegetables for dipping. Makes about 2 cups (500 ml).
