Corn and Walnut Spread

Ingredients:

  2           packages  (8-oz) cream cheese -- softened
     1/4           cup  fresh lime juice
  1         tablespoon  ground cumin
  1           teaspoon  salt
  1           teaspoon  ground black pepper
     1/2      teaspoon  ground red pepper
  1                can  (8-oz) whole kernel corn -- drained
  1                cup  chopped walnuts -- toasted
  1                can  (4.5-oz) chopped green chiles -- drained
  4                     green onions -- chopped
 

Preparation:

Combine first 6 ingredients. Stir in corn and remaining ingredients. Cover and chill up to 8 hours. Serve with crackers, or use as a stuffing for celery or cherry tomatoes. Makes 4 cups.
