Grandma's Poultry Dressing

Ingredients:

  1              pound  bulk pork sausage
  2                     eggs -- lightly beaten
  1                cup  milk -- scalded
  7               cups  coarse dry bread crumbs
  2        tablespoons  diced onion
  1                cup  diced celery
  2        tablespoons  minced fresh parsley -- (up to 3)
     1/2      teaspoon  salt or salt to taste
 

Preparation:

In a skillet, brown sausage. Drain and discard the drippings. In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage and remaining ingredients; mix well. Place in a greased 2-qt. casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
