Uncooked Marinade For Meats

Ingredients:

  1                cup  water
  1                cup  wine
  6                     peppercorns
  1                     bay leaf
  8                     whole         cloves
  1             medium  onion -- thinly sliced
  1           teaspoon  crushed dried thyme -- rosemary or
                        -- marjoram
 

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients and stor in tupperware - makes about 1 cup, or enough for 5 pounds of meat. Note: dry white wine will give a more delicate flavor, but for red meats and game or venison, dry red win is preferred. When ready to use, place meat in season serve, pour marinade over, and invert container severl times while marinating.
