Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Ingredients:

     1/4           Cup  olive oil
  4              Large  Portobello mushrooms
     1/2           Cup  minced onions
  1               Pint  cream
     1/4         Pound  Gorgonzola cheese
  1         Tablespoon  chicken base
  1              Pinch  salt
  1              Pinch  pepper
 

Preparation:

Place 2 teaspoons of olive oil in grill pan. When hot, grill mushrooms for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from pan. Sauce: Saute onions in small saute pan, until translucent, add cream, crumbled Gorgonzola cheese, chicken base, salt and pepper. Constantly stir for 5 minutes. On a 6-inch plate, spoon sauce, place 1 grilled Portobello mushroom in center. Lightly drizzle more sauce over the mushroom. Johanna I love them takes the place of steak
