Preparation:
1. Stir together strawberries and vodka in large glass bowl; cover; refrigerate 5 days.
2. Place berries one layer at a time in strainer placed over bowl; press gently with back of spoon to let juices flow freely.
3. Strain liquid through 6 layers of cheesecloth; measure 3 cups.
4. Add corn syrup and sugar; stir until sugar is thoroughly dissolved.
5. Pour into tightly covered glass containers; let stand 3 days before serving. |
