Fisherman's Bouillabaisse

Ingredients:

     1/4           Cup  olive oil
  2             Cloves  garlic -- fine chopped
  1                Cup  water
     1/2           Cup  dry white wine
  1           Envelope  onion or onion-mushroom soup mix
  1         Tablespoon  finely chopped parsley
  1           Teaspoon  thyme leaves
 14 1/2         Ounces  tomatoes whole peeled...undrained, chopped
  1 1/2         Pounds  lobster tail 3...cut in 3" pieces
  1              Pound  red snapper -- cod, hallibut or haddock cut into Piece  
  6                     clams...well scrubbed
  6                     mussels...well scrubbed
 

Preparation:

In large saucepan or stockot, heat oil and cook garlic over medium until golden. Add water, wine, onion recipe soup mix, parsley and blend thoroughly. Stir in tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then simmercovered for 15 minutes. Add lobster and fish and simmer 10 minutes. Add clams and the mussles and simmer an additional 5 minutes or until shells open. (Discard any unopened shells). Serve, if desired, with bread or rolls. Makes about 4 (2 cups) servings. I do hope that this is what you are looking for and that you enjoy it too.....Betty
