Fried Pork Chops with Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  4                     pork chops 
  4       medium        size mushrooms (caps only), sliced 
   1/2    Cup           chicken broth (or zero carb beef broth) 
  1       teaspoon      garlic powder 
  1       tablespoon    parsley flakes 
  1       tablespoon    butter 
  1       tablespoon    heavy cream 
 

Preparation:

Melt butter in frying pan and add garlic powder. Place pork chops in pan and brown on both sides. Add broth and cream and set heat to simmer. Top pork chops with sliced mushrooms and sprinkle with parsley. Cover and let simmer until pork chops are tender and done throughout. (Depends on thickness of chops). A good side dish to go with this is the Hot and Spicy Cabbage.
