Ingredients:

2         cups          sugar
2                       eggs
2         Teaspoon      vanilla
1         Teaspoon      salt
2         Teaspoon      baking powder
1/2       Teaspoon      nutmeg
5-6       cups          flour

1         cup           sour cream
2         Teaspoon      baking soda

Frosting:
1         cube          butter
8         Ounces        cream cheese
                        Powder sugar to taste (3/4 to 1 bag)

Preparation:

1. Add baking soda to sour cream and set aside.

2. Combine other ingredients. Add sour cream mixture before adding flour. Roll out to 1/4" thick and cut cookies.

3. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes. Do not overcook.

4. Cream together remaining ingredients for frosting and frost cookies when cooled.
