HEARTY PASTA SALAD

This is a great recipe for a large gathering, and the guests will just love it!
 

Ingredients:

2         Cup           Mayo
1/2       Cup           Sour Cream
3         Tablespoons   vinegar
1         Tablespoons   dried basil (crushed in your palm)
                        Salt & Pepper
2         Large         finely chopped tomatoes
3         Stalks        celery, finely chopped
1         shallot       finely diced
2         cloves        garlic finely minced
1         Large         green bell pepper finely chopped
1         Large         red bell pepper finely chopped
2         Tablespoons   fresh parsley finely chopped
1/2       Cup           Sliced black olives
2 to 3    cans          small baby shrimp (depends on how much you like)
2         pound         pasta (Rotini works well with this recipe)
 

Preparation:

Mix first 5 ingredients together, blending well in mixing bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (so the ingredients can meld together) Cook pasta as directed Chop and mix the rest of the ingredients When pasta is finished cooking, submerse in cold water to stop the cooking. When pasta is cooled add the remaining ingredients. cover and keep the frig. for a couple of hours before serving.
