Hot Artichoke Dip

Ingredients:

   2      14.75 oz jar  marinated artichoke hearts -- drained
   1      cup           mayonnaise -- fat free if desired
   1      cup           sour cream -- low fat or fat
                        -- free, if desired
   2      cups          grated parmesan cheese
   1      cup           chopped water chestnuts
     1/4  cup           green onions -- (or more), finely
                        -- chopped
 

Preparation:

Cut artichoke hearts into small pieces. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, water chestnuts and green onions. Place in the slow cooker on low for at least 1 hour or until thoroughly heated. Serve directly from slow cooker with crackers or slices of crusty French bread.
