Clam Dip

Ingredients:

   1                    Shepherds Loaf
   2      cans          minced clams
   2      8 oz package  cream cheese -- softened
   1      teaspoon      lemon juice
   1      bunch         green onions -- chopped
 

Preparation:

Cut off the top of loaf to make a lid. Remove most of the bread from the inside to make a bread bowl. Cut or tear into bite size pieces. Place in zip lock bag for later. You don't want the bread bowl to have thin walls so make sure you don't pull too much out. Mix clam juice, lemon juice and softened cream cheese together. Add clams and green onions. Mix well. Pour mixture into bread bowl. Replace lid. Double wrap with heavy duty foil. Bake at 325F for 2 hours. Serve warm with bread bite
