Grilled Marinated Steak And Vegetables

Ingredients:

   2      pounds        boneless steak -- (top round,
                        -- sirloin or flank)
   1      cup           Italian salad dressing
                        divided
  12      ounces        large -- fresh white
                        -- Monterrey mushrooms cut
                        -- in half -- (about 3-3/4 cups)
   1      large         red onion -- cut in 8 wedges
   2      small         zucchini -- cut in 1-inch
   1      slices        (about 2 cups)
   8      large         cherry tomatoes
 

Preparation:

Marinate steak in 1/2 cup of the salad dressing for 15 minutes. Place in the center of preheated grill rack or grill. Discard marinade. Cook steak about 5 minutes; turn. Place fresh mushrooms, onion and zucchini around steak. Brush vegetables lightly with Italian dressing. Cook until meat is done as desired and vegetables are tender, adding tomatoes a few minutes before steak is done. Let steak stand for 5 minutes before carving. Toss vegetables in any remaining dressing.
