Carrot and Capsicum Raita (Yogurt With Carrot and Capsicum)

Ingredients:

   2      cups          yogurt -- whisked
   1                    carrot -- grated
     1/3                capsicum -- very finely diced
   3      tablespoons   chopped coriander leaves
   2                    green chiles -- (deseeded), finely
                        -- chopped
   1      teaspoon      roasted ground cumin seeds
     1/2  teaspoon      red chile powder
   1      teaspoon      chaat masala
                        salt -- to taste
 

Preparation:

Add the salt, red chile powder, chaat masala to the yogurt and mix well. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add the carrot, capsicum, green chile and coriander leaves. Mix well. You may not require the entire carrot, depending upon the size of the carrot. Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with roasted cumin powder. Refrigerate until required.
