Sookhi Gobi - Cauliflower, Ginger, Garlic And Chiles

Ingredients:

     1/4  cup           vegetable oil
     3/4  teaspoon      cumin seeds
     3/4  teaspoon      yellow mustard seeds
   5      cloves        garlic -- finely chopped
   1 1/2  1" piece      fresh ginger root -- cut into fine
                        -- shreds
   1 1/2  pounds        cauliflower florets
   2                    fresh hot green chilies
   1      teaspoon      salt
                        fresh ground black pepper
     3/4  teaspoon      garam masala
     1/2  teaspoon      chili powder -- or to taste
 

Preparation:

Put oil in wok and set on highish heat. When hot put in cumin and mustard seeds. Ads soon as mustard seeds begin to pop, a few seconds, put in galic, ginger, cauliflower and green chilies. Stir-fry 5-7 minutes or until cauliflower has turned somewhat brown. Now put in salt black pepper, garam masala and chili powder; mix. Put in 4 tablespoons water and cover wok immediately. Cook for 2 minutes and serve.
