Fruity Kebabs With Rum Butter

Ingredients:

                        lemon juice
  24                    strawberries
  2                     firm bananas -- cut into 8 pieces,
                        -- toss in lemon juice
  2                     ripe peaches
  8              small  skewers -- soaked for 1 hour
                        -- in water
                        ***RUM BUTTER***
  50             grams  unsalted butter
  1         tablespoon  brown sugar
  2        tablespoons  rum liqueur
  6        tablespoons  fromage frais
 

Preparation:

Heat the grill. Cut the peaches in half and remove the stones and cut into quarters. Thread 8 small skewers alternating with the other fruits. Rum butter: Cut butter into pieces, mix with sugar and rum liqueur. Dot butter over kebabs and grill for 2-3 minutes. Serve with remaining rum butter and add a spoonful of fromage frais.
