Artichokes A La Grecque

Ingredients:

   1      cup           water
  10      ounces        frozen artichokes - -- (1 package)
   3      tablespoons   lemon juice
     1/4  cup           olive oil
   3                    peppercorns
   1      pinch         thyme
   1      pinch         fennel seed
   1      pinch         coriander seed
   1      small         bay leaf
     1/2  teaspoon      salt
 

Preparation:

In large, heavy skillet, cook artichokes in boiling water for 5 minutes, or until they are separated. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
