Ingredients:

 500      gram          Italian sausage
 500      gram          ground beef
   2      stalks        celery -- chopped
   2                    carrots -- chopped
   1      large         onion -- chopped
   1      kilogram      canned Italian tomatoes
 400      gram          tomato paste
  10                    lasagna noodles -- cooked
   2 1/2  milliliters   salt
  10      milliliters   oregano
   1      milliliter    pepper
 500      gram          mozzarella cheese -- shredded
   1                    garlic clove
 750      gram          cottage cheese
   2                    eggs -- beaten
 100      gram          parmesan cheese
  30      milliliters   parsley
 

Preparation:

1. Combine meat, celery, carrots, onion, garlic; cook till soft. 2. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, oregano, and pepper. Simmer. 3. Mix together the cottage cheese, eggs, parmesan cheese and parsley. 4. Layer meat sauce, cheese mixture, mozzarella cheese, and cooked lasagna 5. Bake at 190 C for 30 minutes. 10 minutes before it is done, top with a Author's Notes: This is Lasagna the way my mother makes it. Freezes well
