Keith's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:

   1      teaspoon      garlic powder
   1      pound         hot sausage
  28      ounces        water
   1      quart         crushed tomatoes
                        bay leaf
   1      cup           minced onion
  12      ounces        tomato paste
  28      ounces        tomato sauce
   1      tablespoon    oregano
 

Preparation:

Use lg. pot, fry sausage in enough oil to cover bottom until brown. Remove meat and most of oil. Brown onion, add tomato paste, sauce, and tomatoes. Add seasonings, replace sausage, bring to boil and simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. stirring every 15 minutes with wooden spoon.
