Ingredients:

   1      pound         fresh or frozen perch or cod
   1      medium        onion -- chopped
     1/3  cup           lemon juice
                        flour
                        salt and pepper
     1/4  teaspoon      paprika
     1/2  teaspoon      basil leaves
                        oil for frying
 

Preparation:

Chop onion and combine with lemon juice. Let set. Combine flour, salt and pepper and paprika and coat fish. Heat oil and brown fish on one side. Turn fish and pour in lemon juice and onions. Sprinkle on basil leaves. Cover and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until fish is tender and onions are soft.
