Smoked Salmon Pate

Ingredients:

     1/2  pound         smoked salmon
     1/2  cup           light cream cheese
   2      tablespoons   light mayonnaise
   1      tablespoon    lemon juice
     1/4  cup           green onions -- chopped
   1      tablespoon    fresh dill -- chopped
     1/4  teaspoon      pepper
 

Preparation:

In food processor, pure salmon, cream cheese, mayonnaise and lemon juice until smooth. Mix in onions, dill and pepper. [Can be covered and refrigerated for up to 2 days.] Smoked trout may be substituted for the salmon. Serve with pumpernickel bread or crackers, or on cucumber slices. Garnish with fresh dill or green onions.
