Seafood Chowder

Ingredients:

     1/3  cup           onion -- (i use less)
     1/3  cup           celery
     1/4  cup           vegetable oil
  16      ounces        creamed corn
  10 3/4  ounces        cream of potato soup
     1/4  cup           white wine -- (optional)
   2 1/2  cups          milk
   2      teaspoons     seasoned salt -- optional
     1/8  teaspoon      pepper
   1      small         bay leaf
   6 1/2  ounces        minced clams-drained
   4      ounces        small shrimp
 

Preparation:

In a 2 quart kettle, saute onion and celery in oil until crisp-tender. Add corn, potato soup, wine, and milk. Mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients and heat to simmer, stirring frequently. DO NOT BOIL! Continue heating till desired temp. Serve with bacon bits as a garnish (optional). Makes 6 (1 cup) servings.
