Quick Corn Chowder

Ingredients:

   3      slices        bacon
   1      tablespoon    butter
     1/4  cup           copped onion
     1/4  cup           chopped green pepper
   1      can           cream of potato soup -- (10 ounce)
   1      can           cream-style corn -- (14 ounce)
   1                    soup can of milk -- (10 ounce)
   2      tablespoons   chopped red bell pepper
                        salt and pepper to taste
 

Preparation:

Cut bacon in 1/2 inch pieces and fry until crisp. Drain off fat and set aside. In a saucepan in melted butter, add onion and green pepper. Cook over low heat until vegetables are soft. Add the undiluted potato soup, corn and milk. Stir until well blended. Cook over medium heat until soup is well heated through. Stir in bacon and bell pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm. Approximately 10 minutes.
