New England Style Turkey Chowder

Ingredients:

  1                cup  green onions -- sliced
  1                cup  celery -- sliced
  3        tablespoons  butter
  2               cans  cream of potato soup -- condensed
  33            ounces  creamed corn -- (2-16 1/2 oz. cans)
  2               cups  chicken stock -- or turkey stock
  1           teaspoon  salt
     1/2      teaspoon  nutmeg
     1/4      teaspoon  pepper
  2               cups  cooked turkey -- diced
  2        tablespoons  parsley -- minced or
  1           teaspoon  dried.
 

Preparation:

In a large pot saute onion and celery in butter until celery in almost tender. Add potato soup, creamed corn, chicken or turkey stock, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Stirring constantly, bring to boil. Reduce heat; add turkey and parsley; simmer 5 minutes or until turkey is heated.
