Crockpot Corn Potato Chowder

Ingredients:

  6             slices  crisp bacon -- crumbled
  4                     potatoes -- peeled and diced
  2          teaspoons  sugar
  1                can  cream corn -- (16 ounces)
                        Salt & pepper to taste
  2               cans  chicken broth
     1/2           cup  onions -- chopped
     1/2      teaspoon  paprika
  1                     tall can evaporated milk
 

Preparation:

Fry bacon crisp and crumble (fine). Combine all ingredients (except milk). Pour into crock pot. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours. Add milk and cook covered for 1 hour. Serve with crackers of choice or Jalapeno cornbread.
