Corn And Cheddar Chowder

Ingredients:

   2      tablespoons   butter
   1                    onion
   1      rib           celery
     1/4  cup           flour
   1      quart         milk
   1      package       frozen cream style corn
   2                    sliced potatoes
   1      cup           cheddar cheese
                        salt and black pepper
   1      teaspoon      paprika
 

Preparation:

Melt butter in large pot and saute onion and celery until softened. Blend in flour. Cook until bubbly. Add milk. Bring to boil. Stir occasionally until thickened. Add corn and potatoes. Simmer 6 minutes. Add cheese. Mix well. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika. Approximately 10-12 minutes.
