The Laird's Shrimp

Ingredients:

     1/4  pound         butter
   2      cloves        garlic -- crushed
   1      tablespoon    finely minced onion
   1      pound         raw shrimp -- peeled and deveined
   3      tablespoons   Johnnie Walker red Scotch
   2      teaspoons     lemon juice
     1/4  teaspoon      dried basil
                        salt and pepper
 

Preparation:

Heat butter in skillet. Add garlic and onion and cook over low heat until translucent. Add shrimp, Johnnie Walker Red, lemon juice and basil. Sauté shrimp just until pink, stirring often. Be careful not to overcook. Add salt and pepper to taste.
