Dijon Bourbon Marinade

Ingredients:

     1/4  cup           bourbon
     1/4  cup           low sodium soy sauce
     1/4  cup           Dijon mustard
     1/4  teaspoon      Worcestershire sauce
     1/4  cup           dark brown sugar -- firmly packed
   6                    pearl onions -- minced
   1      teaspoon      salt
     1/2  teaspoon      white pepper -- or to taste
 

Preparation:

Whisk together all ingredients making sure the sugar has dissolved. It works best if you use a glass bowl. MAKES 1 CUP. This is an incredible marinade for Lamb, pork, chicken or beef. Marinate the meat in the refrigerator over night, using the remainder to baste with during cooking.
