Kurt's Canned Beans

Ingredients:

   1      can           pinto beans
   1      can           black beans
   1      can           white beans
   1      can           kidney beans
   1      can           beans of your choice
   1      can           chopped tomatoes
   1      bunch         cilantro -- chopped
   1      bunch         green onions -- cut diagonally
   3      cloves        garlic -- minced
   2                    serrano peppers -- sliced thin
   1 1/2  tablespoons   dried epazote
     1/2  teaspoon      cumin, toasted and ground
   3      dashes        hot pepper sauce
                        salt and pepper -- to taste
 

Preparation:

Rinse the beans well in cold water. Put into a pot and add the remaining ingredients. If the juice from the tomatoes doesn't cover the beans (I doubt if it will), add some beer (Preferred) or water to cover. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cook uncovered for half an hour or more to blend the flavors. Add more liquid as needed. Serve with a slotted spoon
