Preparation:
Put tomatoes into saucepan and add onion, clove, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Then add corn and butter beans. Simmer 10 minutes and add bacon drippings and margarine. Serve hot. Variation: Pour vegetables, after cooking, into a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish, cover with 1/2 cup shredded cheese or with buttered breadcrumbs and bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. |
