Ingredients:

   1      teaspoon      methi -- (fenugreek)
   2      tablespoons   chana daal seeds
   4      tablespoons   coriander seeds
   4                    red chiles
   1      teaspoon      hing
   3      tablespoons   coconut -- (grated)
   3      tablespoons   oil
 

Preparation:

1. Roast methi, chana daal, and hing. 2 Add chiles when daal starts getting red. 3. If using dry coconut, soak it in a little water and blend the daal mixture and coconut until the paste is fine. Keep aside.
