Salmon And Corn Casserole

Ingredients:

  3        Tablespoons  butter or margarine
  3        Tablespoons  flour
     1/2      Teaspoon  salt
  1               Dash  pepper
  2               Cups  milk
  1                Can  salmon (#1 size can)
  2        Tablespoons  minced onions
  1                Cup  grated cheese
  2               Cups  buttered cracker crumbs
 

Preparation:

Make a white sauce with the butter, flour and seasonings and milk. Set aside. Pick over and flake the salmon. Place 1/3 in a buttered casserole dish. Add 1/3 of the sauce to which the onions have been added. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the cheese. Repeat the layer twice. Spread the corn over all and top with the buttered crumbs. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 30 minutes.
