Pork Satay With Peanut Sauce

Ingredients:

   2      pounds        pork tenderloin
                        ***MARINADE***
   2      tablespoons   soy sauce
   1      tablespoon    oil
   1      teaspoon      sugar
   1      teaspoon      fresh garlic
     1/4  teaspoon      ground ginger
                        ***PEANUT SAUCE***
     1/2  cup           creamy peanut butter
     1/4  cup           warm water
   2      tablespoons   soy sauce
   3      tablespoons   lemon juice
   1      tablespoon    sugar
   1      teaspoon      garlic -- chopped
     1/8  teaspoon      ground red pepper
     1/4  teaspoon      gingerroot -- ground
 

Preparation:

Cut meat into 1-inch or larger cubes. Combine marinade ingredients in glass bowl. Marinate meat for at least 6 hours in refrigerator. Grill over medium coals about 1/2 hour and baste often with marinade. Peanut Sauce: Whisk until creamy. Cover. Let stand at room temperature until serving time, for dipping often at the table.
