Pork Satay - 3

Ingredients:

   1      pound         pork -- cut in cubes
                        ***MARINADE***
   1      cup           water
     3/4  cup           dark brown sugar
     1/3  cup           dark molasses
     1/4  teaspoon      ground ginger -- up to 1/2
     1/4  teaspoon      pepper
     1/4  teaspoon      ground coriander
   1      clove         garlic -- crushed
 

Preparation:

Mix ingredients for marinade. Heat if necessary to dissolve the sugar. Marinate the pork, preferably overnight or as long as possible. Thread 3 or 4 pieces of meat on each skewer. Grill in broiler or over hot coals until insides are no longer pink. Delicious with peanut butter sauce. Will serve 4 as a starter. Boneless chicken can be substituted for pork as a variation.
