In-n-Out Double-Double Hamburger

Ingredients:

   1                    plain hamburger bun
     1/3  pound         ground beef
   1      Dash          salt
   1      tablespoon    Thousand Island dressing
   1      large         tomato slice (or 2 small slices)
   1      large         lettuce leaf
   2      slices        American cheese
   1      whole         onion slice (sliced thin)
 

Preparation:

1. Lightly toast the both buns, face down in the pan over medium heat. 2. Salt each patty and cook for 2-3 minutes on the first side over medium heat.. 3. Flip the patties over and immediately put two pieces of cheese on each one. Cook for 2-3 minutes. 4. Build the burger in the usual form.
