Zesty Onion Couscous

Ingredients:

  2        tablespoons  margarine
     1/2           cup  chopped carrots
     1/2           cup  sliced green onions
  1 1/2           cups  water
  1           teaspoon  chicken flavor instant bouillon
     1/2      teaspoon  sugar
     1/8      teaspoon  cayenne pepper
  1                cup  uncooked couscous
     1/4           cup  chopped fresh parsley
 

Preparation:

In a medium skillet, melt margarine over medium-high heat. Saute carrot and onions until tender. Stir in water, bouillon, sugar and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Stir in couscous. Cover; let stand 5 minutes. Stir in parsley.
