Baked Pasta Pie

SHELLS, GROUND ROUND, SAUCE, ONIONS, PEPPERS, OLIVES, CHOPPED TOMATOES, MUSHROOMS BAKED WITH PARM CHEESE.
 

Ingredients:

  2       JARS          SPAGETTI SAUCE
  1 1/2   POUNDS        GROUND ROUND
  1       LARGE         ONION CHOPPED
  1       LARGE         GREEN PEPPER CHOPPED
    1/2   CUP           GREEN OR BLACK OLIVES DICED
  3                     ROMA TOMATOES CUT INTO CHUNKS
  2                     MUSHROOMS (OPTIONAL) TO TASTE
  2       PACKAGES      FINELY SHREDDED PARM CHEESE.
 

Preparation:

HEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES. PREPAIR SHELLS ACCORDING TO BOX DIRECTIONS AND DRAIN WHEN FINISHED COOKING. BROWN THE GROUND ROUND AND SET ASIDE. COAT THE BOTTOM OF A LARGE OBLONG GLASS BAKING DISH WITH SPAGHETTI SAUCE. POUR IN THE SHELLS, GROUND ROUND, ONIONS, PEPPERS, OLIVES, TOMATOES, MUSHROOMS , THE REST OF SPAGHETTI SAUCE, AND MOST OF THE PARM CHEESE. STIR TOGETHER TO EVENLY DISTRIBUTE ALL INGREDIENT. THEN TOP WITH THE REMAINING CHEESE. BAKE IN PREHEATED 400 DEGREE OVEN FOR 30-45 MINUTES OR UNTIL CHEESE IS STARTING TO BROWN ON TOP. LET STAND 10 MINUTES AND SERVE.
