Black Bean Hummus

Ingredients:

4         cups          ranch black beans (See Goes With recipe.) or canned black beans
1         cup           canned chick peas (reserve juice)
1         cup           juice from chick peas
1         bunch         fresh cilantro
1         Tbsp.         cumin powder
1/3       cup           whole garlic cloves
2                       fresh limes, juiced
1-1/2     cups          sesame tahini paste (Available in gourmet section of grocery store)
1         Tbsp.         Salt
 

Preparation:

1. Combine all ingredients in food processor. Puree until smooth paste is achieved. Adjust seasoning with more lime juice and salt to taste.

2. Serve as an appetizer with warmed pita bread, sliced French bread or your favorite crackers.
